Lompos Records is proud to announce its new emcese of 2017, who will be taking over from J Dilla.
Lompoc is one of the most well known records stores in the country and has a long history of serving up some of the finest hip-hop music.
The shop’s owner, J Dillah, has been a long time producer and producer of the likes of Jay-Z, Drake and Lil Wayne.
Lompooc has a strong presence on the scene, with a long list of artists coming and going from the shop, but the latest emcees, including Jay-Lo, Chance the Rapper and The Weeknd, have been in the spotlight.
The record shop has been around for a number of years, and has been recognised by Billboard magazine as the most sought-after record store in the UK.
Lompeo has been producing tracks for Drake and Chance since the shop opened in 2013, but his latest album, BONUS: The Lompopo Records Album, was released on March 18, 2017.
The album has sold over 500,000 copies and features guest appearances from DJ Premier, the Weeknd and Lil Kim.
Lopooc’s newest album, Lompolove, was also released on the same day.
