New Saints record third straight loss with loss to Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles had three interceptions Sunday night, his fifth of the season, but the New Orleans Saints defense had just enough time to get off the field and put up three points in the second half.

Brees threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown, in a 38-38 win.

Carts’ 2-point conversion play was the first of his career.

He threw a touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins on the game’s first play, then ran for the go-ahead touchdown, before throwing two more to Kenny Stills on second-and-4 and finally a 3-yarder to Brandon Coleman.

The Saints scored a field goal on the ensuing possession, a 23-yard scoring pass from Brees to Kenny Britt on third-and_7.

Stills, who had a long interception attempt, threw for 105 yards and one touchdown.

The third-year pro had one of his best games of the year in his first career start.

After Stills’ touchdown, Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore intercepted Brees, giving him two interceptions for the game.
