Why do people in Dallas and Dallas County need a court order to enter their addresses?

A judge has ordered a man to get a court-ordered warrant to get his address.

Dallas County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Randy White said Tuesday that a man in Dallas was arrested after police say he allegedly entered his address to get permission to visit a relative in a medical facility.

The man was charged with trespassing, a felony.

He was released on $500 bond.

A spokesman for the sheriff’s office said the man was “satisfied” with the ruling and that the man’s attorney will be notified when he can be released.

The attorney for the man said he was not sure if he plans to appeal the ruling.
